Podia together with the Land Owner, Hacer Group and Melbourne’s Idle Architecture Studio have worked to develop the vision and design for a contemporary workplace with a simple yet elegant design that connects people to the surrounding environment. This PCA A-grade design will be a new class of commercial development for suburban Melbourne.

Podia is working closely with the asset owner and the builder, Hacer, to deliver the highest quality construction and integrated fitout for New Zealand’s tech darling, Xero, who will be the anchor tenant at 260 Burwood Road once complete.

Innovation in Design

260 Burwood Road comprises a four-level basement with five levels of flexible, high quality and light filled office space. Central to the overall design is the large central atrium that connects four open commercial floors, providing great connectivity and circulation between the floors whilst capturing an abundance of natural light. Similarly, the building at street level will be a triumph of activation, encouraging interaction with pedestrians and streetscape.
