Podia is working alongside private property group Sandran Property and Cottee Parker Architects to produce a bespoke design which transforms the existing building into a contemporary, sustainable and highly flexible workplace within the heart of Sydney’s second CBD, Parramatta.

Address: 132 Marsden St, Parramatta NSW 2150

Completion Date: Late 2021

Project Value ($A): $100 million

Project Type: Commercial Office & Retail

A Sustainable Approach

In today’s political, economic and environmental context, it is the responsibility of all Landlords, Developers, Architects and Tenants to carefully consider how we will transform our cities in a more efficient and sustainable way. Repurposing Sandran’s existing office portfolio is a logical and sustainable approach to make responsible changes from an environmental and operational perspective.

The refurbishment of 132 Marsden St will provide a contemporary, sustainable and high performing PCA A-grade workplace in Parramatta’s CBD that responds to the specific needs of the future tenant.

A New Home

Fundamental to the refurbishment of the project are the works to improve the buildings overall energy performance and to increase tenant amenity. Improved energy performance is being achieved through reducing carbon emissions via a brand new high-performing façade system, coupled with new building services and increasing solar array to the rooftop. Tenant amenity is being improved with the introduction of interconnecting staircases between commercial floors.
